Registration

How to register for ICALP 2011

Online registration will close Friday, June 24th, 2011. After this date, you can only register on-site and pay in cash.

Rates.

Up to and including June 5, 2011, we offer a reduced early-registration rate of CHF 429.00 ~EUR 334 (regular) and CHF 286.00 ~EUR 223 (student, i.e., someone who has not (yet) completed a PhD/doctorate). When registering after this date, the fee is CHF 509.00 (regular) and CHF 366.00 (student).

In order to confirm their status, students must show a valid student ID or a letter from their advisor at the registration desk.

The registration fee (both categories) includes admission to all sessions, coffee breaks, and social events (Apéros on Monday and Thursday evening). Also included is a one-year membership fee for the EATCS (two years for students). Member of the EATCS get the benefit of discounted registration fees at conferences such as ESA and MFCS. For more information about the EATCS please refer to the EATCS homepage. If  you do not want to become a member of the EATCS, please check the corresponding box on the registration form. The registration fee is not affected by this choice.

Early-registration payment must be done by credit card (Mastercard or Visa, no American Express).

Proceedings

Update: As of June 15, it is no longer possible to order printed proceedings via registration. There may be a few leftover copies, though. If you are interested, please ask at the conference desk here in Zurich.

The proceedings are not included in the registration fee. If you want to get hardcopy proceedings, you have to check the corresponding box on the registration form. The price for the proceedings changed/increased over time, in dependance on the number of people who ordered proceedings. The costs were between CHF 30 ~EUR 25 and CHF 50 ~EUR 41 (for ICALP participants only).

Workshops

If you want to attend (one or several of) the workshops on Sunday, July 3rd, 2011, please check the corresponding box on the registration form. The additional fee of CHF 40 ~EUR 33 is used to cover two coffee breaks and a lunch. When registering after June 5, 2011, the fee is CHF 60.00 ~EUR 50.

Extra-Ticket for Social Events

Participation in all social events (Apéros on Monday and Thursday evening) is included in the registration fee. Please check this box only in case you need an additional ticket for a second person.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

A written notification (letter or fax) has to be sent to the Conference Secretariat.
The refund depends on the day this notification letter arrives at the Conference Secretariat.
Arrival until May 31st, 2011: total refund minus an administrative fee of CHF 50.
Arrival until June 27th, 2011: 60% refund minus an administrative fee of CHF 50.
Arrival after June 27th, 2011: no refund.
